Two years in the Rotork Group

The time pass quick and it is already two years since Remote Control Sweden AB was acquired by the Rotork Group to be included in the Rotork Fluid Systems Division.

A natural step in succession of the new ownership is that we since March 2009 changed our company name from Remote Control Sweden AB to Rotork Sweden AB.

Remote Control is a conception within the pneumatic actuator area since almost 50 years, we manufacture today exactly as before the well known RC-products in our factory in Falun and the brand name Remote Control is vivid.

Short delivery times and high service level are still our important guiding-stars.

The membership in the Rotork Group has strengthen our presence on a large number of international markets and that also increase the availability of the products as well as spares and service around the world.

Furthermore has our product range increased considerably since the entry, all Rotork Fluid Systems products are now available for our customers.

This means that we except for the already known RC-products also can offer for example:

• Rotork GP Pneumatic Actuators up to 600 000Nm
• Rotork GH Hydraulic Actuators up to 600 000 Nm
• SVM Partial Stroke Device for valve and actuator diagnostics
• Rotork Skilmatic, Elektrohydraulic Actuators
• Rotork GSH, hydraulic Actuators for sub sea applications

Doubled production capacity

As a step in Rotork´s offensive venture to meet the requirements for even shorter delivery times and higher product quality we have invested in a new high speed machining centre. It is now run in and working.

The machining centre has a tooling capacity of 274 tools and can machine with cutting speeds up to 12000 rpm. This investment means that we have doubled our production capacity and now stands well prepared to meet our customers’ future requirements.

Product news

RC-E4LS, new limit switch box made in SS316, for indicating of open and closed valve position.

The Switchbox comes in basic design equipped with 2pcs micro switches and easy to access terminals for simple connection without any special tools.

2 pcs M20x1,5 cable entries and extra free terminals enables the use as a junction box for electrical connection of a solenoid valve.

Ingress protection grade IP67

As option we also offer gold plated micro switches, inductive sensors and explosionproof classification EEx ib IIC T6/T5, ATEX II 2 GD T80\100°C

Product training

We invite to product training in english March 9th to 11th, the training covers the RC200-series and its accessories and aim in the first room to distributors and resellers.

The training takes place in our premises in Falun.
